HUMMINGBIRDS NEWS Hummingbirds are having a specal Christmas party, to celebrate our 10th birthday, on Sunday 9th December between 2 and 4pm. There will be a hamper raffle, tombola, cake stall, face painting, a children's entertainer and refreshments. All Hummingbirds children, past and present, are invited to help us with our celebrations. Funding - we have recently been offered significant funding to resurface the whole of the play area and buy awnings to protect our children from the sun or to allow them to play out even on wet days. We hope to complete this work over the summer holidays Ladies' Pampering Evening - Our recently held social evening raised over £350, which will be used towards resurfacing our new play area. New Climbing/slide system - We have a new Playdale climbing/slide system with safe play surface underneath bought with money awarded by the National Lottery. We are currently raising funds to resurface the tarmac area with a child friendly rubber crumb surafce.  AGM - This will be held on Wednesday Sept 26th at 8pm in the Castle Lane Community Centre. We are looking for new committe members as we have members moving on this time. Anyone interested should contact Hummingbirds.
